Today I had the pleasure of playing at St Gallen Cathedral at a lovely wedding.
The majesty of the place enveloped everyone present; the Baroque art, with its fluidity, penetrated without warning to the very depths of our souls, as if God, with a paintbrush, were stirring us into the whole. The music, the harp and the organ made their presence felt, bringing heavenly magic down to earth.
The bride and groom, deeply in love, exchanged vows of love, respect and care; through their presence, they embodied, in modern times, that which is most ancient and sought-after: love.
